Abstract
Riffing off our earlier work using flipbooks to teach about transformations of polyhedra, we present an exercise in
which students develop flipbooks that illustrate multiple ways of generating the Sierpinski triangle fractal. Creating
and experimenting with the flipbooks enables students to discover and review how different generative processes can
result in the same fractals.
