Abstract
Every mathematical knot or link can be embedded crossing-free in the 2-manifold surface of a handle-body of
appropriate genus. This is an investigation of how such an embedding changes when the surface is everted. The
cases studied concern Knot 818 embedded in surfaces of genus 4 and the Borromean rings in surfaces of genus 3.
