Abstract
One of the vehicles for utilization of auxiliary information is to use a sampling scheme with inclusion probabilities proportional to given size measures, a πps scheme. The paper addresses the following πps problem: Exhibit a πps scheme with prescribed sample size, which leads to good estimation precision and has good variance estimation properties.
