Abstract
This workshop will elaborate how to introduce students (upper elementary and high school students, age 14-18) to
Platonic solids and their properties through origami activities. Some of the important mathematical concepts related
to these well known geometrical solids will be shown to the participants. The participants will be given instructions
how to create origami Platonic solids, and materials related to their mathematical properties will be provided.
