َAbu Sahl Wijan b.Rustam al-Kuhi was a mathematician from Tabaristan who flourished in the second half of the tenth century C.E . His Work was well Known among the mathematicians of his ago working in the Buyid domains , and he had as patrons at least three kings of the Buyid Dynasty:
